GARIDES SAGANAKI

prawn and feta hot pot

1kg prawns (Cleaned and raw) 

500gms cherry tomatoes 

1 large onion, finely chopped

5 garlic cloves, finely chopped

2 Tbsp dried/ fresh oregano

Paprika, to taste 

Pepper, to taste 

Half a bunch of parsley, coarsely chopped  

1/3 cup olive oil 

300 – 400gms Feta cheese

 

In a large saucepan, add olive oil, onions and garlic and sauté until translucent.

Then add tomatoes and season with pepper, paprika, oregano and parsley.

Stir on medium heat for 5 minutes.

Add prawns and feta and stir for a further 3 minutes.

Place mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle some paprika on top.

Cook at 200°C for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
